Play Ball...

It was a beautiful day, so we spent most of our time outside. Aiden and Travis played baseball together.

Aiden would run after the ball and pitch it to Travis.

Aiden's Great Aunt Donna bought him this chair for Christmas and Aiden was helping Ryan blow it up.

Aiden moved to the outfield and would catch the ball and throw it to Ryan so he could throw it to Travis to hit.

What a fun day of playing ball!

Christmas Lane

Yesterday Aiden and I went to look at Christmas lights while everyone else was at the Bucs game. A family in Dover FL sets them up in their front yard for the month of December for the community to go through. It was perfect for Aiden to walk around and look at.
They had a little train that the kids could ride on.

This one was Aiden's favorite. They had a Christmas scene inside the lens.

I wasn't sure if Aiden would ride the train by himself, but he walked right up and go on.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas. On Christmas Eve we walked around the neighborhood and looked at lights. Aiden really liked being able to get close to all the figures.

When we got home Aiden opened his Christmas Eve present, PJs.

Christmas puppy pjs

And Elmo slippers.

Before bed we put out cookies and milk for Santa.

Christmas morning was lots of fun watching Aiden open everything. We let him open all his presents first and after he would unwrap one he wanted to take it out and play with it. We had to convince him that once he opened everything he could play with all his new toys.

GD found a pair of pants that have fake boxers sewn into the top of the pants.

Aiden and Aunt Donna by the hot tub.

Aiden decided he wanted to go for a swim.

One of GD's and Gram's friends came over on his golf cart and took Aiden for a ride down the street. It was the nicest golf cart we had ever seen decorated in FSU colors.

Yesterday we went over to Gigi's and went to the beach for the day. The last time we were at the beach Aiden was six months old and fell asleep in my arms walking into the surf.

Aiden got a wagon with sand toys to use at the beach. He had a great time destroying what Grams and Ryan built.

The water was pretty cold, but it didn't seem to bother Aiden. He and GD got right in and played in the water. He even fell in the surf and just got back up.

We hope everyone had a great Christmas and was able to spend time with the one's they love.

Tampa or Bust...

This Saturday we flew to Tampa to spend Christmas and New Year's with the McNulty's. Aiden again did really well on the airplane and it didn't hurt that we were in first class. Travis has some cute pictures on his phone from the plane that I'll upload later.
I tutor most evenings and it never fails that they do something silly while I'm gone. Last week Aiden decided that he wanted to wear his backpack around the house.

He also thought he would try on the oven mittens!

Since we were going to be gone over Christmas we let Aiden open a few presents that we weren't going to take with us. This way he thinks Christmas last for a month!

He remembered what to do with a present.

Yeah!! More Hot Wheels!

And a new soccer ball.

GD got Ryan's Hot Wheels out of the attic so Aiden could play with them and found a piece of shelving to make a ramp.

Hanging out by the hot tub.

Throwing the frog to Dad.

This morning was nice enough for us to take a walk down to the park.

Aiden wasn't sure what to think about the sand; we'll see what he does at the beach later on this week.

GD got up in the attic again and found more cars for Aiden to play with. He took them all out and layed them around the driveway.

Learning to throw a frisbee.

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

We haven't been up to much lately, just getting ready for Christmas. I have video of Aiden in the Christmas pageant, but I need to compress it before I put it up.
Travis put up our Christmas lights last Saturday and of course Aiden wanted to be outside with Dad and help.

I thought it would be fun to make Salt dough ornaments with the boys. Aiden had lots of fun, but Gavin fell asleep on us.

Kneading the dough.

Cutting out our ornaments.

Rolling out the dough for our ornaments.

Aiden and Gavin watching "Elmo" together.

I thought making ornaments would be fun this year, but I seem to have child that takes his time when painting. We are now working on our second week of painting our ornaments.

We figured we better get our presents wrapped before we leave on Saturday.
